About this Podcast

HOST: Welcome to our podcast, today we're talking with an expert about the Masterclass Certificate in Biophilic Design for Public Spaces and Parks. Can you tell us a bit about your experience and what drew you to this field? GUEST: I've always been passionate about nature and design. Biophilic design allows me to combine these interests, creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also improve people's well-being. HOST: That's fascinating. How does biophilic design impact urban planning and public spaces specifically? GUEST: Biophilic design makes cities more livable by integrating natural elements into concrete jungles. It improves air quality, reduces heat, and creates inviting spaces for communities to gather. HOST: Can you share some current trends in biophilic design for public spaces and parks? GUEST: Sure! Green walls, water features, and local flora are increasingly popular. Also, designing for all senses - sight, sound, touch, even smell - is gaining traction. HOST: Those sound like great ways to connect people with nature. But there must be challenges in implementing these ideas. What would you say they are? GUEST: Budget constraints and lack of understanding about the benefits of biophilic design can be obstacles. However, as more cities see the positive impact, I believe these challenges will diminish. HOST: It's exciting to think about the future of biophilic design. Where do you see this area heading? GUEST: I believe we'll see more cities adopting biophilic design principles. With climate change becoming a major concern, creating sustainable, nature-infused urban environments will become essential. HOST: Absolutely. Well, thank you so much for joining us today and sharing your insights on the Masterclass Certificate in Biophilic Design for Public Spaces and Parks. GUEST: My pleasure. Thanks for having me!
