About this Podcast

HOST: Welcome to our podcast, where we explore innovative courses and the experts who create them. I'm thrilled to introduce our guest today, an expert in green pet grooming tools. Can you tell us a bit about your personal experiences that led you to develop this course? GUEST: Absolutely! I've been a pet groomer for over 15 years, and I've seen the industry change a lot. I became increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of the tools we use. That's what inspired me to create this course, to help other groomers make greener choices. HOST: That's fantastic. Could you share some current trends in the grooming industry that relate to this course? GUEST: Sure. More and more groomers are recognizing the importance of sustainability. We're seeing a rise in the use of biodegradable grooming products and energy-efficient equipment. It's an exciting time for green grooming. HOST: Indeed, it is. But with any new trend, there must be challenges. What have you found to be the biggest hurdles in teaching or learning about green grooming tools? GUEST: The biggest challenge is accessibility and affordability. Not all eco-friendly tools are readily available or cost-effective. However, I believe that as demand grows, so will supply and affordability. HOST: That's a valid point. Looking towards the future, where do you see the pet grooming industry heading in terms of sustainability? GUEST: I believe sustainability will become a standard in the industry. Groomers will be expected to use eco-friendly tools and techniques, just as clients now expect salons to be clean and hygienic. It's a shift that's long overdue. HOST: It certainly is. Thank you for sharing your insights with us today. I'm sure our listeners have gained a lot from this conversation.
