About this Podcast

HOST: Welcome to our podcast, today I'm thrilled to have Chef Melissa, an expert in plant-based cooking for kids. Chef, can you tell us about your personal experiences that led you to create this course? GUEST: Absolutely, I've been a plant-based chef for over a decade and noticed a lack of engaging resources for kids. I wanted to create something fun and educational, promoting healthy eating habits from a young age. HOST: That's wonderful! Could you share any current industry trends that support the importance of plant-based cooking for kids? GUEST: Certainly, there's a growing interest in plant-based diets for both ethical and health reasons. Teaching kids these skills early on sets them up for a lifetime of healthy choices and environmental stewardship. HOST: I see, but there must be challenges in making vegetables exciting for kids. How do you address this in your course? GUEST: Yes, that's true. We use interactive techniques, like storytelling and colorful presentations, to make plant-based cooking appealing. We also focus on hands-on experience, so children can learn by doing. HOST: That sounds effective. Looking forward, what do you envision for the future of plant-based cooking for kids? GUEST: I believe we'll see more schools incorporating plant-based cooking into their curriculum, fostering a generation of health-conscious, environmentally friendly chefs. HOST: It's exciting to think about the impact this course could have on the future. Thank you, Chef Melissa, for joining us today and sharing your insights about the Masterclass Certificate in Plant-Based Cooking for Kids. GUEST: My pleasure, thank you for having me.
